“There’s no place like home!” It’s a familiar expression embossed on the hearts of young and old…male and female. Home—the foundation of security, hope, freedom, peace and love—a priceless treasure which millions have protected with their lives for countless centuries.

We, living in the United States of America, are without doubt the most blessed nation inhabiting Planet Earth. We’re able to travel from coast to coast, sea to shining sea with few, (if any), constraints, enjoying limitless privileges and beauty.

It’s for those reasons that Kim’s testimonial, “The Battle Isn’t Over Because They’re Home…” is so empowering. The booklet opens eyes and pays tribute to military personnel, who through their devotion and service to this country experience hardships few non-military can envision. The verbiage tells of specific struggles encountered by our heroes as they return to their homes after fighting abroad. Their lives are permanently altered by the atrocities of war and overall greed of mankind. Therefore, it’s up to us (as a nation) to educate ourselves and understand that we’re dually obligated to them too. Kim does an outstanding job bringing these responsibilities to the forefront of our attention, thereby ensuring a smoother transition between the soldiers and their families and friends.

Second, I Love the Book! So proud of you. This book is exactly what the families need, especially since you have lived it. Kimberly has sent us her book she wrote which touched my heart in so many ways. "The battle isn't over because they're home" is a small book on families and how they cope once their loved ones come home from serving in the military. Kimberly's book is her own account of how her life changed after her hubby went to fight in the war. She has been the Readiness Coordinator for her hubby's unit for over 5 yrs and knows how to handle and think once her loved one was back on American dirt. She wants everyone to know her knowledge first hand what to expect and how to handle things. This book is a MUST have. get yours today.

Hi Kim -

I just wanted to let you know that even with my busy schedule, I found your book to be a very easy read. I liked how you kept addressing the subject with phrases such as the return of "your" soldier. I suppose this is how families have to feel...their loved one is a soldier. Not just their husband, wife, brother, sister, dad, mom, or child. I know that you put your heart and soul - as well as your own personal experiences - into writing this. You bring up a lot of subjects that one might not even think of and I can see the value to those awaiting the return of "their soldier".

I would like to thank everyone for all the support. I am blown away by the reviews that are coming in and very humbled by it all.

At it's release 27 April 2009, I wasn't sure what to expect. Though things are going well, there is still a lot of work to be done to get the word out, so all who need and want a copy know how to get it. Please continue spreading the word so others are aware.

My hope is that this book will make a difference and that everyone, even those that hate to read and those that are busy, will pick it up and read it; given it is a quick read.

I refer to this booklet as a book, but it is indeed a booklet. It took quite a bit of editing and rewriting, to get all that needed to be included, on the few pages that lay between the cover.

It can be read in under an hour or 30 minutes if you're an avid/quick reader.

I welcome feedback/reviews (positive and negative), questions, comments and yes, signing events.

Thank you for allowing me to share a piece of my heart with you; my lil book.
